After the sample is treated, the viability of the sperm is checked within the first 24 hours, usually with measurements every 3-4 hours. The test evaluates the ability of sperm to remain progressive within the first 24 hours, a fact that makes it possible to coordinate intercourse with ovulation, but also schedule insemination or multiple inseminations.
