Panagiota Kolokytha is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and is a PhD Graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens. She has specialised in Reproductive Medicine in the United Kingdom.

Doctor Kolokytha studied Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Athens from 2005 until 2011. During her studies she was accepted by Yale University, U.S.A., as a Research Fellow for 2 months, as well as by Johns Hopkins University Hospital ,U.S.A, as a Clinical Fellow for 1.5 months.

After obtaining her Medical Degree, she started working on her PhD at the Pathology Department of the Medical School of the University of Athens, and graduated in 2017.

In the meantime, she worked as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainee from 2013 to 2019, at the hospitals ‘’Elpis’’, ‘’General Hospital of Edessa’’ and ‘’Elena Venizelou’’.

She completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialty Training in 2019.

Following this, she moved to London in order to subspecialise in Reproductive Medicine. She worked for a year at ‘’Princess Royal University Hospital’’ and then for 3 years at the Reproductive Medicine Centre ‘’Create Fertility’’ London.

She is certified in Pelvic Ultrasound – HyCoSy – 3D Ultrasound, as well as in Embryo Transfer and Intrauterine Insemination by the British Fertility Society, of which she is a member since 2020.

She was trained in Hysteroscopy and Advanced Laparoscopic Suturing, by taking part in the intensive courses of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.

The Doctor is also Certified by ECFMG, U.S.A., and is a member of the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG).

Parts of her work have been published in international journals and presented at ESHRE and RCOG conferences.
