Doctor Ioannis Gryparis was born in Zakynthos on 1974. He grew up in Athens and is a graduate of Athens Medical University (2002). He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Patras in 2010.

Dr Gryparis worked as a clinical and research fellow at the St Mary’s IVF department in Manchester, UK, where he subspecialized in human reproduction and assisted fertility techniques, including all aspects of male and female subfertility, ART and hysteroscopic – laparoscopic surgery, under the guidance of world famous fertility specialist Prof. Luciano Nardo.

During his UK training he was awarded Pelvic Ultrasound Accreditation by the British Fertility Society on June 2011, while, his research work enthused particularly with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and polycystic ovaries.

Dr Gryparis is an Editorial Member of the international Gynecological Journal “EC Gynecology”, and has joined numerous postgraduate seminars both in Greece as well as abroad. He has published widely in international and Greek conventions.

He holds his private practice in Piraeus since 2011 and he currently is a fertility specialist of Iaso’s fertility unit “Institute of Life”, while he is a clinical and scientific associate of Iaso Maternity Hospital.
